“Cruise of our life in this superb Cruise ship”

Fantastic cruise from the beginning to the end.
– Booking was smooth and very easy
– Bus between our hotel in Hanoi and the Cruise was extremely comfortable (even more than a private car I think), with water and wifi provided
– The ship itself is splendid, new and are even better than on the different pictures you can see online
– Every member of the staff is great and very kind: Special mention to Lisa who has always been smiling and willing to help.
– I really recommend the two nights – three days trip to really enjoy the most this wonderful cruise
– Food was EXCELLENT and in quantity
– Drinks are not included in the price but are really not too expensive

The trip was amazing, the place is absolutely wonderful and the boat is really high quality. The boat staff is very lovely and really care about the passengers. Special thanks for Sunny, our guide tour, who was really kind and professional during the whole trip. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated, making you feel like you are in a 5 stars hotel. The food is good and well prepared. I really recommend it

“Great Boat Trip”

We spent the 2 days / 1 night trip to Halong Bay with Athena Cruise. As soon as we got picked up in the hotel in Hanoi, we felt very welcomed by the tour guide Sunny. Later, it has been a great welcome by the Manager of the cruise, Tim. It is a very nice & luxurios ship and we really enjoyed the great view from our room. The food and especially the 5–course-dinner in the evening was very delicious. They also took care of special food requirements very carefully. The tour has been a great experience and we keep the smiles of the staff in our mind when returning home.

“Modern and comfortable”

The boat seems quite new. Clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. It was worth the extra money. Some of the other boats looked a bit old and worn.

We went for the 3 days and 2 nights trip and were very happy we did that. The travel from Hanoi is a bit long so we felt we needed the extra day to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Even though the weather was a bit cold when we went (15 C), all the activities could be done. Bring long pants, a warm jacket and some extra clothes, you get very wet in the kayak.

Overall, great value!

“Best Cruise in Ha Long”

We spent a lot of time researching cruises on Ha Long bay and having decided to go with this one, were definitely not disappointed. The boat is brand new and luxurious- every room has its own private balcony. Activities included kayaking around a fishing village and exploring Sung Sot Cave, which did not disappoint. The overall experience is made all the better by Sonny the tour guide. He is very knowledgable of the area and was always making us laugh. He also entertained the guests into the late evening with squid fishing and good conversation- thanks Sonny!

“Ha Long Bay Tour”

We’re a couple from California traveling through Vietnam, while in Hanoi we booked a two day, one night tour with Athena Cruises. We were very pleasantly surprised by the level of service from this company. Everything was perfect, the tour was great, the food was excellent the accommodation were first class.
A big Thank You, goes to our tour guide, Nam. He has got to be the hardest working young man in all of North Vietnam. He was thoroughly knowledgeable and extremely helpful and by the way also very “funny”. I would highly recommend this cruise company.
